Fundraising Events

To celebrate spring, and getting through the strangeness of the past couple of years, we’d love you to join us for our Pub Quiz! Bring your friends along and help us raise some money to help us continue to plant trees with the community.

It's Great Big Green Week! The theme this year is "let's swap together for good". What could you swap that would benefit the planet? Perhaps some seeds for the garden, or skill swap at your allotment. Or skill share with a neighbour so that you both get something done that's been put off.

Or how about learning more from others about what benefits nature by getting involved in a local community garden. In Godalming? Join us at Eashing Cemetery Community Garden and Orchard for our weekly sessions on Tuesdays 4-6pm.

We would love to hear what you are up to this Great Big Green Week!

Happy World Environment Day! This year's theme is #GenerationRestoration.

Roots for the Future focuses on children and young people with the vision that we can help to inspire the next generation to live more harmoniously with nature. While all ages are welcome to our community events, our work with children and young people gives them the opportunity to engage in practical solutions to the climate crisis and biodiversity loss.

One of the ways we bring children closer to nature is at the community garden we help to run. Recently at Eashing Cemetery Community Garden and Orchard school groups and after school clubs have been digging out turf to make way for planting wildflower seeds and doing bug hunts! In the following seasons and years the same children can come back in see the changes they have made to this previously unloved section of green space.

We are working with these children and young people so they can become the #GenerationRestoration.

"We cannot turn back time, but we can grow forests, revive water sources, and bring back soils. We are the generation that can make peace with land." #WorldEnvironmentDay
